Request access to a workspace
Use a Join Request when your holiday rental or coworking team has given you its workspace code.
Before you start
Sign in with an active, verified account. You need the workspace code, not an administrator's email address. You do not need a separate paid plan to join.
Submit your request
- Choose to join an existing workspace. This is also available in your workspace settings.
- Enter the code in the format
OCT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. - Check the workspace name before submitting.
- Wait for an authorized person to decide. You request membership; you do not choose your own permissions or groups.
- Once accepted, open the workspace. If the view does not continue automatically, use the offered open action.
Status and waiting periods
A pending request does not grant access. It expires after 30 days. Withdrawing it starts a 24-hour wait before another request. Rejection starts a 30-day wait; after expiry you can request again immediately. Follow the waiting time shown in the app.
An invalid or replaced code does not open a workspace. Ask the responsible person for the current code. If features are missing after acceptance, ask them to review your group permissions.
